I started Kratos International Holdings, Ltd. in 2006. I was a very new mom and a recent immigrant to Canada.
I had already spent a number of years teaching–sometimes English overseas, sometimes helping facilitate home learning, science and math, and a lot of academic tutoring for international students in the Greater Victoria area on Vancouver Island.
Wanting to create my own educational services company, I spread my net wider to sub contract to many different organizations in addition to my private tutoring business. I started courses like Science For Girls and Kratos Summer Science Camps.
Now, more than 10 years in to my “business”, I am always evolving. While I still do offer many of these original services, I am seeking to offer content to a wider area, which is possible through the internet.
While still committed to regular academic subjects, Kratos is maturing to try and offer resources and education about a growing number of high interest topics–like support for educators, parents, and organizations. Internet business and other entrepreneur training; and ideas from cyberspace to make every educator’s life just a little bit easier.
